Job Application - How to prepare.

We have all heard about the 'Great Resignation', but what is the next step. 

If your next move is a new job then tune in here and follow the steps to successful job hunting.  Over the next few weeks I will be delving into the following points in more depth.  Any questions or comments are welcome. 

Things to consider;

• What is your employer looking for
• It is vital to match your qualifications and experience to the job requirements.  The employer is looking for evidence that you can do the job. 
• Research the company - 
• not just a quick look on their website. Find our a little more about the organisation so that you can be a step ahead of the competition. 
• Prepare success stories and practice them in anticipation of the interview and in preparation of your CV.  
• Use the SARS or STAR method of promoting your skills. 
• Prepare for Interview questions
• Tell us about yourself is the most likely question to trip you up. Your answer should be in line with the job requirements, this question is not your cue to tell them your life story.
