How to prove your skills on a CV for the experienced professional

We often tend to think we need to promote everything we have ever done since the year dot, the truth is all we need to do at this stage is to look attractive to the recruiter based on their requirements.

The answer is on the job description - the essential criteria are the skills to promote.

We promote each skill based on our lived experience, how we have successfully used the skills, and describe the positive outcome for the company, the stakeholders and your career.

i.e. if you are a marketing professional and you are required to have prior experience of generating POVs and defining technical roadmap at enterprise level.  Your job is to recount on your CV where you have done this, how you did it, the goal and the outcome.
