5 ways to connect with your emp loyees and help them connect with each other! Celebrate what is working well. Take a leaf out of the science of positive psychology and celebrate what is good. All too often we tend to focus on the negative. If we focused on the positive and celebrated it on a weekly basis how would that look? Start the Monday meeting with what's going well in the office at the moment? what's going well at home right now? and just sit back and see the results. Get to know people. Have a 'face to face', 'one to one' chat with your employees, see if you can find out what their aspirations are. Just spending the time to chat with each employee for a few minutes, maybe once a month would do it. Be part of the onboarding.
